Google Cloud DNS

Google Cloud DNS is a fully managed, globally available domain name system (DNS). When building solutions on GCP, Cloud DNS provides a number of advantages to external third-party DNS services. Cloud DNS is fully controllable via the Cloud DNS API and provides deep integration with other Google Cloud products and tools, such as gcloud, IAM, Cloud Deployment Manager, and low DNS latency via anycast.

Cloud DNS functions on managed zones, which represent a single domain name or subdomain name. Managed zones can be created from within the Cloud Console by navigating to Navigation menu | Network services | Cloud DNS and clicking CREATE ZONE.

Because Google Cloud Platform does not currently provide domain name registrar services, an external registrar (such as Google Domains) must be configured to forward DNS queries to the managed zone. Each managed zone is created...
