Recovering from wrong selection of account
As we said earlier, GnuCash doesn't provide a way to change the account to import an OFX file into, once you have made a selection. However, in spite of all of our warnings, if you have got yourself into this mess, here is how to get out. This is the GnuCash equivalent of what is known in the football world as a "Hail Mary pass". I am referring to the very long forward pass in American football, made in desperation, especially one thrown at or near the end of a half. Use this with caution.
