Eclipse and Mylyn
The first and probably by far the most popular of all the development IDEs that we will look at is the Eclipse platform—this is extremely popular for a number of different projects including Java, C/C++, and PHP, and it has a vast user base and a wealth of mature and easily available plugins.
To achieve our goal of presenting Jenkins information to developers, Mylyn is currently the most popular extension that we can use in conjunction with Eclipse.
