Efficient Teams meetings

Meetings are a part of life. Business cannot happen without meetings. We will see how to be effective and efficient in any role – organizer, presenter, or attendee. The principles of efficient teamwork will help us manage meetings effectively, whether you are the organizer, presenter, or attendee.

Go to the relevant section and learn the best practices. Microsoft Teams is commonly used for business meetings, training programs, and even large events. We will not discuss the webinar and live events part of Teams in this book.

Microsoft Teams meetings are different compared to any other apps you may know – such as Zoom, WebEx, Skype, GoToMeeting, and so on. With most meeting apps, when you click the End Meeting button, the meeting ends. Not with Teams. The meetings you have already attended land in Teams chat.

This can be confusing and irritating. In fact, this is the most important feature of Teams meetings, which makes it the tool of choice...
