Application Versions and Analytics
Application versions help you to keep track of changes and manage these changes better. For example, once you release version 1.0 of your app and it goes live, you can start working on version 2.0 and introducing new features, as we are about to start doing in the next topic in this chapter. Meanwhile, while doing so, we will also want to see how version 1.0 is doing with respect to usage. As an app owner or a product owner invested in the success of your app, you will need to monitor some key usage metrics, such as the number of daily active users of your application. In the next few steps, let's take a look at how we can see these analytics:
