Summary

In this chapter, we learned the methods for organizing your Alteryx server so that workflows can be discovered and users can collaborate on Alteryx projects.

Next, we learned how to manage assets and users in Collections. We also learned how users can collaborate on projects and workflows on the Alteryx server with these skills.

Finally, we learned how to secure the Alteryx environment with the example of a server in AWS. We learned the basic server architecture and how to use security groups to control access to those resources. We also learned how to connect our Alteryx server environment with company data sources and enable a connection between a cloud environment and an on-premises environment.

In the next chapter, we will learn how to take the content on our Alteryx server and data sources from our environment and make them discoverable with Connect.
