Exploring other third-party integrations

Looker can connect to a vast array of third-party tools through its Action Hub. Additionally, a growing number of third-party tools are now able to connect to Looker directly from their interface. Admins can install the required Looker connector and configure authentication between Looker and Tableau, Power BI, and others. This section dives into how Looker connects with third-party tools, exploring the process and guiding you through the typical steps involved.

At the time of writing, Looker announced a new feature: Open SQL Interface. With this new feature, users can now connect to a LookML model as if it were a database. This allows them to take advantage of the work done by data analysts in LookML using the third-party tools they are most comfortable with.
