Clip Mode Level and Pan Adjustments
In the next several recipes, we'll be covering using Clip Mode with Dissolves to make Level and Pan adjustments, setting a common level to multiple segments simultaneously, and adjusting multiple segments simultaneously by a uniform amount. Once you understand these three things, then all the other available options from the Audio Mixer Fast Menu will make perfect sense.
First, let's open the Audio Mixer and get it set to Clip Mode:

Consider mapping the Audio Mixer menu selection to a convenient location on your keyboard. For example, I've placed this on Shift + A. Click the Audio Mixer Mode button so that it displays the text Clip.
