Building a BLE DC motor controller
The BLE Controller can easily be hardwired to a DC motor. The littleBits DC motor module is a combination driver circuit that provides signal buffering and bidirectional control by way of a small selector switch. The small electronics module provides convenience and ease of wiring the DC motor to the RedBearLab shield. The actual DC motor driver circuit component used to operate the electrically connected small electromechanical device is a power MOSFET (TPS2812C).
The TPS2812C is an 8-pin small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) using dual high-speed power MOSFET drivers capable of delivering 2 A (amperes) of peak current to an electrical load. As a reference, the circuit schematic diagram of the littleBits DC motor is shown as follows:
