A Simple Chat device block diagram
A Simple Chat device can be thought of as an electronic teleprinter. A text message can be sent to a visual display, such as the Arduino serial monitor or a typical LCD. The method of physically connecting to these visual displays can be accomplished using hardwired serial or wireless communications techniques. Creating the desired text message to send to the Simple Chat device will be accomplished using a typical notebook computer or desktop PC keyboard.
