Summary
One of the most important things to configure within the File Plan is the retention schedule — the specification for how long a type of record needs to be retained before being disposed of. In the DoD 5015.2 specification, retention schedules are a key component of the disposition schedule. In this chapter, we learned how to configure the disposition schedules.
