Introducing accounting dimensions
You may have experienced that when managing and analyzing your outstanding Account Receivable trade account, you needed to create a special account in the chart of accounts for each of your customers, in order to capture and show the customer's AR trade balances, as shown in the table below:

Even though you can use this approach when implementing ADempiere in your organization, it is suggested that you create only one Account Receivable trade account in the system.
