Deploying End Point Operations
The End Point Operations Agents are available from My VMware in the same place as the main vRealize Operations Manager downloads at https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/details?downloadGroup=VROPS-610&productId=538&rPId=9050.
Tip
You will only see the End Point Operations downloads if you are entitled to the Advanced or Enterprise editions of vRealize Operations.
You will see quite a number of downloads; to choose the correct one, you need to consider the following:
Windows or Linux: Agents are available for both. The release notes will confirm the exact versions of these operating systems that are supported.
Java Runtime Engine (JRE): There are agents available that ship with, or without a JRE. An agent without the JRE is slightly lighter in weight; however, you will need to make sure that you have a supported JRE, as described in the release notes. This also means that you need to be careful when you update your JRE.
