VMware View Planner
The View Planner, formerly known as Reference Architecture Workload Code (RAWC), is a desktop workload tool that allows you to generate a realistic and adjustable workload with various applications on the virtual desktop. The results that are gathered are for items such as CPU usage, memory utilization, storage, and network. Then, the information can be analyzed to determine the readiness of a given environment to run the virtual desktops.
The View Planner can be found at http://www.vmware.com/products/view-planner.
There is a VMware Communities website for RAWC (https://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/rawc) that has additional information and reference architectures that have been created with RAWC.
