Chapter 14: Creating UserForms
A macro is a wonderful time-saving tool in the Excel environment, but it has its limitations. When we want to run a macro, we have to click on ribbons and icons before choosing the desired macro from a list. Sure, we can use shortcuts, but you can only remember so many keyboard shortcuts.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could send data to a macro, and then watch as it populates a table for us?
So, welcome to UserForms, the interface between macros and spreadsheets. With UserForms, we can not only automate data capturing but also add buttons to activate macros on our spreadsheets. We are, in reality, going to create our own customized dialog boxes.
