Fred is a polyglot software engineer who's spent over two decades working at every stage of the software development life-cycle, in a variety of roles and using a plethora of languages and platforms. His software interests include Ruby, Elixir, relational databases, Behavior-Driven Development, requirements management and agile methods. Fred has practiced Scrum for many years, both as a Scrum Master and as a software developer. As well as writing, Fred likes to read history and physics books and also blogs and speaks at meetups and conferences. He has also written the "The Professional Scrum Master Guide- unofficial Guide to Scrum" and "Managing Software Requirements the Agile Way".
