Summary
In this chapter, we examined topics that are outside the Scrum Guide but are very likely to be encountered in real life. A competent Scrum Master will be aware of these topics and will know what to do when confronted by them. We started by learning how a CI/CD pipeline enhances the development cadence and optimizes the value produced in the Sprint.
We also learned how to apply different testing levels to ensure a high level of quality and enhance our definition of Done. We talked about the things to do in order to foster the Scrum values when working remotely and how to tackle the issue of technical debt. Finally, we discussed how to apply Scrum when working with big teams and large products.
In the next chapter, we'll focus on the Professional Scrum Master TM level I (PSM I) assessment itself. You will learn how to prepare for the assessment and will test yourself against sample PSM I questions.
