Tinkering from one design to another
The first place to look for additional design files and models to incorporate into your own project is from within Tinkercad itself. Let’s say you are working on a new 3D model and you want to bring in a design that you made previously, such as the pumpkin we created in Chapter 7.
To do so, follow these steps:
- The first thing we need to do is open both (or several) design windows in separate tabs within our web browser, as shown in Figure 8.1:

As shown in Figure 8.1, I have my pumpkin model open in one tab to the left, and then another design with grass and trees modeled in the tab to the right of my web browser. There are a few different ways to bring the pumpkin model into the garden model, but the easiest is through copying and pasting.
