Understanding the Service-Now workflow

E-commerce websites are very popular these days. So, for instance, if you are ordering any item from any e-commerce website, then there are certain processes which need to be followed, such as selecting the desired item, adding it to the cart, adding the address, making the payment shipment of item and so on. Likewise, if any request is raised, then the approval of the manager is required, for procurement of any item finance team approval is required and so on.

Getting ready

To step through this recipe, you should have an active Service-Now instance, valid credentials, and an admin role.

How to do it...

1. Open any standard web browser and type the instance address.
2. Log in to the Service-Now instance using the credentials.
3. On the left-hand side, type workflow and Service-Now will search out workflow application for you, as shown in following screenshot:
