Creating a database view
Service-now provides system tables in which the data is stored and the product also provides a facility to create a custom table for a custom application, but it is worth to note that most of tables refer to each and other. On many occasions, clients ask for reports which are hard to get from a single table or a reporting module. In such a case, you can use the database view to connect more than one table to get the desired report. In this recipe, you will learn to create a database view.
Getting ready
For this recipe, you need an active service-now instance, valid credentials, and an admin role.
How to do it...
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer).
