Experience Cloud and content management
Salesforce Experience Cloud, formerly known as Community Cloud, is a Salesforce Platform-based product that is used to build public-facing websites (or experiences). A classic use case for Experience Cloud is creating customer portals that allow for self-service support and collaboration with forums or knowledge sharing.
The Salesforce Content Management System (CMS) is also built on the Salesforce Platform and is used to create branded consistent content components that can be leveraged in a variety of channels, including B2C Commerce, and Experience Cloud. In the subsequent sections, we will learn about Experience Cloud and CMS.
