B2C Commerce capabilities
The primary difference between B2C Commerce and the Salesforce B2B Commerce product is their capabilities. The B2C Commerce product, which is the focus of this chapter, supports extremely high-volume transactional selling, including guest channels. The B2C product also supports far more robust campaigns and promotions, as well as personalized recommendations with Commerce Cloud Einstein.
The B2B product, however, supports robust tiered account structures, customizable product pricing, and a more flexible user experience layer. The B2B product also benefits from being built on the core Salesforce Platform, so it shares a common data model with products such as Service Cloud.
