Teams live events
Live events in MS Teams are a feature for setting up a broadcast meeting. Live events are used for one-to-many communication. Unlike regular meetings, these live events aren't meant for collaboration. Instead, they are used for broadcasting information to large audiences. With that said, live events can accommodate 10,000 participants. During this pandemic time, the limit has been increased to 20,000 until the end of January 2022. In live events, attendees wouldn't be able to interact except for Q&A (if enabled). An example of when MS Teams live events would be useful in an organization is when an executive would like to share important announcements with all their employees.
