When to create a new environment
If you are just starting with a Power Apps tenant, you will have the default environment to start with.
Best practice: Rename this to Personal Productivity
. This is a guaranteed feature for all tenants that eliminates ambiguity. Figure 3.1 provides an example and highlights where the current environment is located. In this example, the default environment is active. This environment can be used but there will be limitations.

You’ll notice there is a warning banner saying there are limitations to this environment. Since this is the default environment, there is no Dataverse database created, which means we are unable to create tables to store data. This is shared by all users.
