Summary
In this chapter, we reviewed the different layers of the TCP/IP model and the applicability of Go on each one. We went from changing the state of network interfaces on Linux systems, to working with IP addresses, all the way to building a web application prototype.
Now you are ready to embark on the network automation journey and take all these lessons you’ve learned so far and apply them to make networks more efficient, reliable, and consistent. This is what we begin to examine in Chapter 5, Network Automation.
