A wiki can be one of the most flexible collaborative tools one has in the e-learning toolkit. While you may think of a wiki as a place to jointly contribute information in collaborative encyclopedia-like articles (as in the case of Wikipedia), you'll find that in Moodle, a wiki opens up a wide range of collaborative possibilities, that allow people to learn from each other and boost motivation at the same time. You can even use a wiki for group projects and presentations.
