Azure Backup
Azure Backup helps protect servers or clients against data losses, providing a second place backup solution. In fact, while performing a backup, one of the primary requirements is the location of the backup. Avoid backing up sensitive or critical data to a physical location that is strictly connected to the primary source of the data itself. In case of a disaster involving the facility where the source is located, there is a higher probability that loss of data (including the backup) can occur.
While this is probably the most important aspect of a backup solution, Azure Backup also provides the capability to encrypt backup sets at the source before the data leaves the source machine, with an encryption key that is defined by us.
As it is an enterprise-level service, usable even in very complex scenarios, it integrates with existing backup tools of the Windows Server and the System Center Data Protection Manager. It can be configured to minimize the bandwidth consumption, and...
