To get the most out of this book
You will need to have an active Roblox account and have the Roblox Player and Roblox Studio installed on your computer. All code examples in this book have been tested on a Roblox version from July 2022 using Windows 11. However, they should work in future releases of Roblox too.
It is recommended to own a Microsoft Xbox controller or an Xbox One and newer to test user input in Chapter 7, Listening to User Input
If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code from the book’s GitHub repository (a link is available in the next section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.
