Summary

In this appendix, you started thinking about an action plan for implementing Mahara in your organization.

You saw some of the reasons why a typical software implementation fails and thought about some of the things you can do to prevent this from happening.

You looked in detail at what is involved in implementing Mahara in your organization. You saw the stages that you will typically go through including Analysis and Specification, Planning, Design, and Implementation, and Evaluation and Continuation. You asked yourself many of the important questions that need to be asked at each step of the process and considered many of the challenges you will face.

You will have hopefully put together your own Implementation Action Plan listing all of your own objectives and actions necessary to meet them as well as some criteria for assessing their impact.
