Technical requirements
In this chapter, we will gather data, configure sample sensors, and build an initial architecture to process the data flow and present it to the end user. Our goal is to get data flowing cleanly and set up parts of the architecture to build on for later chapters. You will fall into one of two camps:
- A technical and hands-on developer or architect will dig into the technology and can follow this chapter to help you get going. This chapter, or this book, is not a basic step-by-step guide. It provides architectural guidance and high-level flow with links, code samples, and many details when necessary. However, if you fit into this camp, you will likely want to adjust things to your liking as you move forward.
- Someone who is less technical will appreciate the lack of step-by-step detail as you can follow the approach and flow without getting bogged down (or maybe bored) in the details.
I think this approach provides a good mix of information...
