Let's look at all the things we've done.
We have made sure that we are up to date with our Python installation, installed CUDA (assuming we have an NVIDIA GPU graphics card) and installed PyTorch. If you are anything like me, you are chomping at the bit to get going and do some programming.
However, we need to get some more basics defined before we can really be productive, which is our goal. In the next chapter, we will go through some of the basics.
