To appropriately handle financial challenges, a structured and centralized organization is the desire of leadership. The skills needed to build the FinOps teams are still very scarce, and experienced analysts are hard to find.
It is recommended to at least hire an experienced person who has implemented cost savings measures to jump-start the journey. The cloud cost management field is huge and requires specific cloud service provider knowledge.
