Setting up a maiden flight
With everything set up, we can start setting up the drone’s maiden flight. Note that you must be extra careful during the first flight and observe the drone’s behavior. Make sure you follow the safety guidelines for yourself and the people around you. It’s always recommended to do the maiden flight in an open area so that fewer people are around. Make sure that the drone is away from potential buildings, structures, and populations. The safety of the public is important and we should be responsible pilots.
Setting up flight modes, a return-to-land (RTL) switch, and joystick controls on your transmitter for flying a drone requires proper transmitter configuration. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up these functions:
