We took a look at setting up routing to exchange networks between routers and firewalls, static and dynamic NAT configurations, understanding and configuring ACLs (standard, extended, and global), object groups and service policies, and finally further administration of the ASA using the ASDM.
In the next chapter, we'll introduce another firewall concept, known as the Zone-Based Firewall (ZBF). The ZBF will allow us to use a Cisco IOS router as a firewall.
