Text and Markdown elements in Looker dashboards are used to add descriptive text, headings, and other formatting to your dashboards.

Text elements provide a simple way to add text to your dashboard. You can use text elements to add titles, subtitles, labels, and other descriptive text.

Markdown elements allow you to use Markdown formatting to add text, headings, links, images, and other content to your dashboard.
