Harnessing Reality Capture to Enhance Civil Projects within Autodesk Civil 3D 2025

So far, we have gone through new and advanced workflows of Civil 3D to build upon the foundational workflows within the program. In this chapter, we will continue to take our workflows to the next level, but instead of building on them, we will back up and reexamine our existing conditions and how we can leverage them and their capture methods for incredible project accuracy and stronger foundational design from the beginning of the project through to project delivery.

The main topic of this chapter is, of course, reality capture, and we will dive into how it can build a truly strong level-up in any BIM model manager's career and skill set.
