Preparing and Extending the Purpose of Our BIM Designs for Collaboration and Visualization

In the previous chapter, we learned how to use Dynamo for Civil 3D 2025 to make our design work easier, faster, and more consistent. We also got better at managing civil BIM models, especially those we receive from other project stakeholders. Dynamo for Civil 3D 2025 has many benefits that help individuals, design teams, and organizations work more efficiently.

In this chapter, we’ll look at extending our civil designs beyond Civil 3D and into the areas of collaboration and visualization that are often required for communicating and integrating our BIM designs in a multidisciplinary environment. By doing this, we’ll find new ways to work more efficiently and become even better civil BIM model managers.
