We have also learned the architecture of Windows Azure Storage and how this architecture helps in maintaining availability. We learned the importance of proper partitioning and how this helps us in building responsive and scalable applications.
The next chapter digs deeper into the SQL database, the cloud variant of Microsoft SQL Server. The chapter describes how to set up and provision a SQL database, how to manage it, and how to set up a neat feature called Data Sync.
