In this section, you will learn how to set up a development environment for creating an Android Auto in Xamarin. I am using Windows 8.1 as my development operating system, but you can use Mac as well. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Download Visual Studio Community 2017 (https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/). It can be installed on Windows 7 or higher, or macOS.
- Click on the downloaded installation file.
- Go to the Mobile & and Gaming section and select Mobile development with .NET.
