In this chapter, we have covered some more key concepts and a few visualization types that haven't been shown in other chapters. By now, you should have a good understanding of data relationships and also started to understand how to use some basic statistical capabilities within Spotfire.
Together, we have explored data table relations and column matches. We've also looked at some more key analytic capabilities within Spotfire-show/hide, subsets, reference lines, fitted curves, and forecasting. Remember that show/hide allows you to show or hide various parts of your data. Subsets allow you to compare different subsets as an alternative to trellising. Recall that subsets combined with filtering and marking are much more flexible than trellising. Fitted curves and forecasting are excellent tools for smoothing data and looking into the future, respectively.
