Exploring AI tools in key management areas
There are many tools that TPMs use on a daily basis to manage projects and programs. As with any new technology trend, these tools are updated with new AI integrations to boost productivity. However, some are certainly better than others, and some AI integrations aren’t really needed. We are at the stage where every tool, app, website, and phone is adding in AI because they’d be left behind if they didn’t. This also means that the proliferation of AI tools is far too fluid and expansive to cover in a way that would do it justice. Instead, we’ll use the standard GenAI tools for a lot of these discussions and call out any purpose-built tools if they stand out and aren’t just a standard tack-on to existing tools. After all, if a popular tool you are using at work adds in AI capabilities, you won’t need this book to tell you. I promise the tool will let you know!
