Major changes since Puppet 5

Puppet 5 reflects the change in direction of Puppet as an organization, which was highlighted in the previous chapter. Its focus is on performance and scaling for infrastructure and stability in the language. This section will cover the changes that have taken place between Puppet 5 and 7; these versions reflect the versions of Puppet in use, which you are likely to see in code bases you are working with and in modules you would take from the Puppet forge.
