Summary

In this chapter, we learned the essentials of FL Studio. We learned how to add instruments with the Channel rack, how to add notes so that we can create melodies using the Piano roll, and how to add music patterns to the Playlist so that we can arrange your melodies. We learned how to add effects to our music using the Mixer, how to add samples and MIDI data using the Browser, and how to record audio. Finally, we learned how to export our music from FL Studio.

In the next chapter, we'll learn useful music theory for composing.
