DLP policies are likely to appear on the MS-101 exam. In this section, we'll look at reviewing existing policies and creating new ones from the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center. Let's get started:

When creating policies, you'll notice that you can start from a DLP policy template (such as HIPAA for protected health data, or PII for personally identifiable information) or create a policy from scratch using Custom. Even if you use a template, you're able to modify it later. Templates simply get you started with pre-selected data identifiers:
