Summary
In this chapter, you learned what a cluster is and what it is useful for. You also saw how it differs from plain high availability.
You also learned how to make an application cluster aware and how to configure a cluster running in standalone mode.
You saw the differences between standalone and domain mode. Additionally, you learned how to configure a cluster using the CLI, so that every setup can be replicable at any time on any server.
You then learned that clusters could be configured using two different network protocols, TCP and UDP.
In the next chapter, we will see how we can use and customize the logging subsystem to gain the best out of it in terms of log readability and overall performance using an appropriate log level and asynchronous handlers.
