Configuring voice settings for users
In this section, we'll review possibilities for changing the Teams user voice experience.
One of the most essential settings for voice solutions is voicemail. For cloud-only solutions, voicemail is automatically set up for users once they're assigned a Phone System user license. Voicemail includes transcription (voice-to-text) by default as well.
Users may wish to perform a number of administrative actions for their voicemail and phone line that you won't need to do for them as an administrator, but it might be helpful to know about it. These actions are done from the Teams client by individual users and include the following:
- Adding and removing delegates (Profile picture > Settings > General > Delegation)
- Changing audio device settings (Profile picture > Settings > Devices)
