Converting web content to formatted files

Remember that we have a Planting Schedule page in the Gardening DIY community? That page has an article about when to plant which vegetables in the backyard. Some housewives or farming fans may like a copy of that article in their pocket when they work in their backyard. So it would be handy if there was a feature to convert this Planting Schedule into a PDF file. In this way we can convert the content, download the PDF file to our computer, and print it. Liferay Portal has this file conversion feature for its content. This feature has been enabled in Chapter 4, Tips and Tricks-Advanced Configuration. It relies on the OpenOffice service that was started in Chapter 1, Planning Your Portal.
