In this chapter, we learnt how to build a prototype for interfacing RF devices with the Arduino board. In the first part of the chapter, we learnt how to use the nRF24L01 chip with the Arduino. Now you can employ the RF data transmission techniques learnt in this chapter to build the remote controlled reconnaissance boat mentioned in Chapter 7, Day 5 - Using Actuators.
In the second part, we used the HC-05 Bluetooth chip and learnt how to communicate using the HC-05 module with another Bluetooth enabled device ( a mobile phone). You can extend this knowledge to communicating between any two machines/gadgets, each having their own HC-05 modules.
With this we shall conclude our learning of short range wireless communications on the Arduino platform. You can utilize the basics learnt in this chapter and attempt more challenging projects. In the next chapter, we will learn...
