In this chapter, we were introduced to the world of the Internet of Things. We learned how to use the ESP8266-01 Wi-Fi chip for transmitted device data to ThingSpeak (an IoT cloud platform) with the Arduino platform.
With this we come to the conclusion of our crash course for learning Arduino platform-based device prototyping. As a next step, the reader is encouraged to start thinking and building more device prototypes based on each chapter in this book. Start with simple sensors and then move on to battery-powered compound devices, followed by building more and more wireless devices. Having crash landed into the world of Arduino, the journey begins from here.
