In this case study, we examined Peopledrift Healthcare’s second phase of transformation, which was Optimize. After a year of effort to migrate the entire data center to Azure, fueled by business growth, the cost of Azure services has become a source of expenditure panic for the company’s leadership. Add economic uncertainty to that and it’s a perfect recipe for fear among leadership, but FinOps is meant to deal with this scenario with crystal-clear guidance on how to systematically approach it.
Peopledrift essentially formed and focused its v-teams around four distinct areas, starting with an initiative called zero waste in Azure.
